Collty Help

GETTING STARTED

Complete your Professional Profile

Create the trusted identity that powers team matching, collaboration and reputation.

01

Why the profile comes first

Collty uses one professional identity across workspaces. Completing it first avoids asking for the same name, location, education and career history again in Client or Partner profiles.

A sufficiently complete profile also gives the team assembly and intelligence systems enough evidence to distinguish actual fit from an empty or generic profile.

02

What to complete

  • Your name, city, country and professional title
  • Roles, skills, industries and project types
  • Work history, education and selected cases
  • Availability, collaboration preferences and rate where relevant
  • A date of birth confirming that you are at least 18
03

Create a personal professional profile

Display name must identify the person who will work, collaborate and be considered for a role. Do not enter a company, agency, product or anonymous brand name in place of your name.

Describe your personal expertise and evidence. If you manage a company or team, add those organization details in Team Studio after the personal profile is complete.

How profile evidence is used

06

Add people you have actually worked with

Private Collaboration Graph records trusted professional relationships separately from public followers. Add an existing Collty contact without using an invitation, or add a connection and send an invitation when the person has not created an account yet.

Signals such as Worked with, Trusted, Prefer again and My friend provide context for future team compatibility. They are private collaboration inputs, not public endorsements.

  1. 1
    Choose Add connection

Use it for a person who already has a Collty account or for a relationship you want to record without sending an invitation.

  2. 2
    Choose Add connection and invite

Use the limited invitation quota for a new contact who should receive a registration invitation.

  3. 3
    Select the relationship signal

Choose the signal that accurately describes the real relationship.

  4. 4
    Review Connections

Open the searchable list to filter by signal and inspect account or invitation status without making the profile form indefinitely tall.

07

Review how people will see your personal profile

  • Check that your name, country and timezone identify a real working context.
  • Make sure cases and education explain your personal contribution clearly.
  • Use Visibility to control whether the permitted professional profile can be discovered publicly or only in an authorized context.
  • Private relationship notes, date of birth, account email and private workspace data are not shown as public portfolio content.
08

Save successfully

  1. 1
    Complete at least 80 percent

The footer shows what still prevents a reliable profile from being saved.

  2. 2
    Use English for professional fields

This keeps profiles searchable and comparable across international teams.

  3. 3
    Review visibility

Choose which professional information can appear publicly and which remains private.
