Open Calendar in the right context
Open Calendar from the workspace application menu or its calendar shortcut. In Company Workspace, the heading shows the selected company. My Workspace follows your personal participation and available events.
Calendar shows dated work from its connected sources. Seeing an event does not grant permission to edit its task, project or invoice.
Check the company in the header. Use Schedule scope to narrow the view to projects or a team, and Visible events to select event types.
Choose the company scope
- 1Check the company in the heading
Keep the intended company selected before reviewing its schedule.
- 2Open Calendar settings
In Calendar setup, turn Show events from all companies on for your accessible company events and personal meetings, or off for the selected company.
- 3Save settings
Use Save settings to retain the choice. Access checks still apply to every source event.
Use the view that fits the question
Use Today and the previous/next controls to change the period. Select a day for its scheduled work or an event for details.
| View | Use it for |
|---|---|
| Month | Dates, deadlines and busy days across the month |
| Week | Work and meetings in the current weekly period |
| Year | Longer-range planning; open a month or day for detail |
| Agenda | A chronological list, particularly useful on smaller screens |
Filter the work you need
- 1Choose Visible events
Include or hide Meetings, Tasks, Phases, Deadlines and Invoices where your role provides access.
- 2Set Schedule scope
Select the projects or team you want to review. Clear the scope to return to the wider view.
- 3Check the sprint filter
When Calendar opens from a sprint, it can show that sprint’s dates and project. Use Clear sprint filter to show the broader schedule.
Show or hide Done and Accepted tasks
Open Calendar settings → Show completed tasks. Turn it off to hide Done and Accepted tasks from calendar views; turn it on to include them. Save settings to keep the preference.
Event type colors distinguish tasks, meetings and other events. Task status is shown separately, so a completed task remains identifiable as a task. Hiding it from the calendar does not delete it or change its status.
Set your display and working preferences
- Choose your time zone and 12-hour or 24-hour time format.
- Set working days, workday start and workday end.
- Set default meeting length and the buffer between meetings.
- Choose the default Month, Week, Year or Agenda view.
- Use Save settings. These preferences do not reschedule existing project tasks.
Open the source to change the work
Select an event to inspect its context and use the available source action. Edit task dates and status in the authorized task workflow, project boundaries in Project management, and financial records in their finance application. Calendar reflects source updates.
If an event is missing
- Check the company setting, selected date range, project or team scope and any sprint filter.
- Check Visible events and Show completed tasks.
- Verify that the source task or project has dates and that your account can access it.
- If loading failed, use Try again; an error is not an empty schedule.
