Choose the company or process
- 1Open Keynote Studio → Businesses
Choose an authorized Business Architect model. Use Operating report scope to select all company processes or a particular process and its subprocesses.
- 2Review the snapshot
Start with the operational assessment and evidence gaps. Process definition states, run states, exceptions and configured controls have separate diagrams; KPI charts use dated numeric measurements with their own units and recorded targets. Check capture time and coverage before interpreting totals.
- 3Present and download
Choose presentation or A4 format, inspect the rendered pages and download PDF. Source detail tables are an optional appendix in Presentation settings. Save a presentation to retain that version; it does not update itself when the operating ledger changes. Regenerate an older report from its source to include newly recorded evidence and current charts.
Separate process design from actual performance
| Source | Interpretation |
|---|---|
| Process definition and owner | The intended operating model, not proof that work was completed. |
| Process runs | Recorded states of the included executions. |
| KPI observations | Actual recorded values with dates; a KPI definition alone is not a measurement. |
| Exceptions | Recorded issues and their states within the included execution scope. |
| Controls | Configured governance, distinguished from evidence that a control was performed. |
Read the coverage limits
The report is an as-of snapshot, bounded to the latest 200 runs, 1,000 KPI observations and 2,000 exceptions linked to those runs. Detail tables show smaller excerpts and disclose their included counts. Counts describe the included evidence, not lifetime totals.
Missing observations are unavailable, not zero. Reports with no execution evidence say that performance cannot be assessed and show configuration readiness and next steps instead of empty findings pages. One KPI measurement can be compared with its recorded target but cannot establish a trend. Definitions, actual runs and configured controls remain separate. Use Business plan for strategy and accepted financial forecasts; use Finance for posted financial performance.
